Formed in 1882 The Hathersage Brass Band has been active continuously through three centuries and two world wars. The band forms a regular and popular part of events in Hathersage and the surrounding area and has done so throughout its history – from accompanying the first lighting of Hathersage by gas in 1908 to playing at the 65th birthday party of the late Andrew 11th Duke of Devonshire.
Froggatt Show are delighted to welcome The Hathersage Brass Band back again this year and we are sure you will agree they form the perfect accompaniment to our traditional village show.
